A British woman who was abducted in Malawi nearly a week ago has been freed from her captors following a police operation.

Rescue Operation Leaves Suspects Dead

Police have not identified the suspects or provided further details about how they located the group.

The rescued woman, Nusrat Osman, 47, was reunited with her family and taken to hospital for treatment and assessments.
