The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has issued a weather forecast for today, warning of continued low temperatures across most of the country. The forecast indicates that several provinces will experience rain of varying intensity, accompanied by strong winds that will increase the feeling of cold weather. Additionally, there will be disruptions to maritime navigation in certain areas of the Mediterranean Sea.

The Meteorological Authority's daily statement reported that rainy clouds continue to flow into the northwestern coast, northern coastal areas, and central and northern Sinai. These areas are expected to experience rain of varying intensity, with the possibility of heavy and thunderous rain in some areas, particularly in Alexandria, El Alamein, and northern Delta.

The forecast highlights the following regions as being affected by rain: moderate rain in provinces along the northern coast and northern coastal areas, possibly heavy and thunderous at times; light rain in various areas of southern coastal regions, canal cities, and possibly extending to parts of Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, Suez Gulf, and central and southern Sinai.

The satellite imagery update shows that rainy clouds are advancing towards western Delta areas, with opportunities for light rain in various parts of Greater Cairo. The regions expected to be affected by rain today include Alexandria, El Alamein, and the northwestern coast; provinces in northern Delta and northern coastal areas; northern Sinai and central Sinai; areas in western Delta; southern coastal regions and canal cities; and various parts of Greater Cairo.

The Meteorological Authority has also warned of the formation of mist during the period from 4 am to 9 am on some agricultural and fast roads close to water bodies. This requires caution while driving, especially during early morning hours. Furthermore, winds are expected to be active in most areas, increasing the feeling of low temperatures and cold weather.

Certain areas along the Mediterranean coast, including Matruh, El Alamein, Alexandria, Lake Manzala, Kafr El Sheikh, Damietta, Port Said, and Arish, are expected to experience disruptions in maritime navigation. Wind speeds in these areas will range from 40 to 50 km/h, while wave heights will range from 2 to 3.5 meters.

Egypt's weather today is expected to remain cool during daytime and cold at night, with continued low temperatures across most areas and active winds in northern regions. This coincides with the possibility of rain in specific areas as indicated in the Meteorological Authority's forecast.
