Tunisian President Kais Saïed stated on Friday that the country is experiencing "historic and decisive moments," emphasizing that there is no room for disagreement on national unity and no truce in the fight against corruption. He made these remarks during a meeting at the Carthage Palace with the President of the Assembly of People's Representatives (ARP), Brahim Bouderbala, and the President of the National Council of Regions and Districts (CNRD), Imed Derbali.

The meeting focused on the country's overall situation and the need for concerted efforts from state institutions, working together in a spirit of complementarity. The discussion also touched on the response to those attempting to harm national security and the safety of its citizens. President Saïed noted that differing opinions are a normal occurrence but stressed that divergence on national unity and neglecting the people's legitimate demands are not acceptable.

President Saïed called on officials to demonstrate the spirit of a fighter who only accepts victory or martyrdom, with no middle ground. He assured that the people's aspirations will be realized according to their free will, without any diktat or pressure, and reaffirmed that there will be no truce in the fight against corruption. He emphasized that those lacking genuine patriotism have no place in the country's construction.

The President also highlighted that several public services are still experiencing deliberate and intentional disruptions, citing examples such as water and electricity cuts and unjustified delays in providing services to citizens. He stated that the national liberation war will continue without changing course, as chosen by the great Tunisian people.

President Saïed recalled that the choice was made to ensure the continuity of institutions and that their stability relies on social stability founded on the principles of the revolution, justice, and equity. He stressed that actions serving foreign interests or desperate attempts to sow doubt will not succeed.

The President expressed his conviction that the Tunisian people will thwart attempts targeting their will, security, and stability. He described those who imagine playing leading roles as mere "marionettes" manipulated by retrograde forces nostalgic for a return to the past.

President Saïed's statements underscore his commitment to national unity and the fight against corruption. He emphasized that a solid foundation cannot be built on ruins or exposed maneuvers and that those who lack sincere patriotism have no place in shaping the country's future.
