The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has launched a 10,000-member door-to-door canvassing team to mobilise support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election. The inauguration, held at the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park in Osogbo on October 31, 2026, brought together prominent political figures across party lines. The team aims to secure a second term for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.

Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, addressed the gathering, noting that the inauguration demonstrates commitment, organisation, and shared conviction in President Tinubu's continuity agenda. Oyetola commended Oweizide Ekpemupolo (Tompolo) for supporting the initiative and advocated for unity, discipline, and determination to achieve their target of mobilising 1.5 million votes for President Tinubu in Osun State.

Governor Ademola Adeleke, represented by his deputy, Kola Adewusi, tasked Accord Party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members, and his supporters to put aside past disagreements and unite to deliver for the President. Adeleke's administration and representatives of the Niger Delta political bloc were present, demonstrating a broad-based coalition to secure a second term for President Tinubu.

The National Coordinator of PBAT Door-to-Door, Sunday Adekanbi, encouraged voters to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and deliver the state's two million votes for President Tinubu, irrespective of political party affiliation. Adekanbi's call to action emphasises the importance of voter participation in the re-election bid.

Dr. Kestin Pondi, Managing Director of Tantita Security Service Nigeria Limited, representing Oweizidei Thomas Ekpemupolo, announced that 30 campaign vehicles equipped with speakers, generators, and amplifiers would be provided to facilitate the campaign. Pondi expressed confidence in President Tinubu's reformation agenda and its potential to drive Nigeria's economic growth.
