Issah Niniola, Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Protocol, has stated that the President has made significant strides in addressing the issue of incessant strikes by lecturers in tertiary institutions across Nigeria. Speaking in Oba-Oke, Olorunda Local Government Area of Osun, during the distribution of educational materials to pupils and students, Niniola expressed confidence that the President's efforts would bring an end to strikes in the education sector. He shared his personal experience of graduating from one of the primary schools in the area that benefited from the programme, emphasizing that with determination, they too can achieve great things. The presidential aide commended President Tinubu and the party's leader in the state, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, for their support.
The event also featured a presentation by the NDLEA Deputy State Commander, Drug Demand Reduction and Sensitisation, Mrs Toyin Adegoke, who discussed the dangers of drug abuse and cultism. Adegoke urged the pupils and students to focus on their education and shun destructive behaviors. The distribution of educational materials, including exercise books and kitted first-aid boxes, was part of Niniola's efforts to support students and schools in the area.
