The Taste of Cape Town 2026 festival has announced six Western Cape wine houses that will be participating in the event. The wine houses include Graham Beck, Kleine Zalze, and Cavalli from Stellenbosch, Waterford Estate from the Blaauwklippen Valley, Steenberg Vineyards from Constantia, and The Chocolate Block from Boekenhoutskloof in Franschhoek.
The festival's wine offering has been carefully curated to complement its food programme, which features 12 restaurant kitchens, a chef school, and a masterclass programme. According to Keri Espey, Event Manager for BFE and the appointed Wine Curator for Taste of Cape Town, the selection of wines will include Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, and full-bodied reds, alongside Graham Beck Cap Classique served as the welcome drink.
Every welcome glass poured at the festival will come from a South African farm, with Graham Beck confirmed as the festival's Cap Classique partner. The event's wine offering highlights the region's wine producers and varied terroirs, with all the wines on the list grown, pressed, and bottled in the Western Cape.
The Taste of Cape Town 2026 festival will take place at Green Point Cricket Club on Saturday, November 28, and Sunday, November 29, with gates opening at 11am and the festival running until 10pm on both days. Tickets are available through the Taste of Cape Town website and Quicket, with various options including the Taste Entry Pass, Taste Premium, and Taste Lux.
The Taste Entry Pass costs R450 and provides access to the festival, including restaurants, demonstrations, and wine pours. The Taste Premium option costs R595 and includes a Signature dish voucher, while the Taste Lux option costs R895 and includes a welcome drink and two dish vouchers.
For groups, the Taste Lux Friends option costs R3,222 for four people, including four welcome drinks, four Signature dishes, and four Taste Exclusive dishes. According to Bonnke Shipalana, Group CEO of The Allure Group, "Local is lekker is not a slogan we borrowed for a campaign. It is what is in the glass."
Graham Beck's Vintage range will also be available in the Slow Life VIP Lounge. The festival promises to bring the city's best flavours to life, with a carefully curated selection of Western Cape wines alongside the food programme.
