The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly and APC House of Representatives candidate for Agege Federal Constituency, Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, has urged residents to mobilize voters and deliver increased electoral support for the party in the forthcoming general election. Obasa made the call at a mega rally at Amoo Field, Orile Agege, to flag off the APC campaign in Agege. He stressed that the party must convert its numerical strength in the constituency into electoral victory.
Obasa addressed party supporters, urging them to take the campaign to households, markets, artisan groups, places of worship, and community associations. He emphasized that the objective should not be merely to win the election but to surpass the party's previous voting figures in Agege. Obasa called on supporters to vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC governorship candidate Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, Senator Idiat Oluranti Adebule, and himself as the party's House of Representatives candidate for Agege Federal Constituency.
The rally was attended by traditional and religious leaders, APC leaders and supporters, representatives of trade associations and artisan groups, as well as leaders of non-Yoruba communities. Obasa said the turnout demonstrated the strength and cohesion of the APC in Agege. He emphasized that Agege is always united and will continue to be so, with no issues within the party.
Obasa addressed reports and rumors concerning the party, stating that APC members should remain focused on their campaign and avoid being distracted by detractors. He said that despite criticism, the party will not be swayed and will continue to move forward. The Speaker also appealed to party supporters and other political actors to maintain peace during the campaign and election period.

Other party leaders, including Alhaji Fatai Bisiriyu and Alaba Alashe, urged members to mobilize for the re-election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed as president, Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat as Governor, Senator Idiat Adebule as Senator, and other APC candidates. Council Chairmen Hon. AbdulGaniy Vinod Obasa and Hon. Akinola Abiodun Idowu promised that APC candidates would deliver on their campaign promises.
