The President of the FSSP management committee, Mme Réki Moussa Hassane Djermakoye, presented the three-year performance report of the fund to various stakeholders in Niamey on October 28, 2026. The report highlights the fund's achievements, challenges, and future prospects. During the three-year period, the FSSP mobilized over 71 billion CFA francs, with Niamey being the largest contributing region.

The fund's resources are allocated to various projects, including the promotion of local rice, sensitization on general mobilization, and integration and professional insertion of 1,000 young graduates. Additionally, the FSSP has invested in financing large-scale irrigation projects and developing the fishery sector. Mme Réki emphasized that the fund has made significant investments in financing factories, workshops, and units for vehicle assembly, transformation, and armor plating.

According to Mme Réki, the FSSP has purchased over 350 vehicles and motorcycles for the Nigerien Defense Forces (FDS). She noted that the fund's resources are expected to reach 73 billion CFA francs by the end of the month, with a monthly influx of nearly 4 billion CFA francs. The FSSP's efforts have contributed significantly to ensuring the transportation of goods and products to Niger.

The management and expenditure of FSSP resources are governed by an ordinance and a decree, which stipulate two types of expenditures: intervention expenses, including acquisitions for the FDS, and resource mobilization and operating expenses. Mme Réki reported that over 41 billion CFA francs have been invested in acquisitions for the FDS.

The mobilization of resources in various neighborhoods was facilitated through solidarity days, which supported the message of the President of the Republic, known as the "Appel de Tillabéri". Mme Réki credited this initiative with enabling the FSSP to mobilize 93% of its voluntary contributions this year. To sustain its efforts, the FSSP aims to establish 12,000 collection committees across Niger, with 11,410 already set up.

The governor of the Niamey region, General Assoumane Abdou Harouna, and the administrator-delegate of the City of Niamey, Colonel Soumana Boubacar Garanké, commended Mme Réki and her team for their sense of responsibility. Goudel was ranked as the top neighborhood in Niamey for resource mobilization, followed by Cité Caisse and Corniche Yantala.

The FSSP's efforts have yielded significant results, with a notable increase in resource mobilization over the three-year period. The fund's initiatives have contributed to the country's development, particularly in the areas of defense, agriculture, and youth employment.
