Yasser Zabiri, a young Moroccan footballer, is making waves in his career with his impressive performances for Racing Santander, where he is currently on loan from Stade Rennais. His exceptional skills and goal-scoring ability have drawn the attention of FC Barcelona, with the Catalan club's sporting administration, led by Deco, showing interest in him. Zabiri has scored eight goals in just ten matches, showcasing his talent and potential.
Zabiri's performances have not gone unnoticed, with his coach, Jose Alberto Lopez, giving him a more prominent role in the team. His technical abilities and potential for growth have made him a target for Barcelona to strengthen their attacking line. However, contractual hurdles complicate the potential transfer, with Zabiri's contract with Stade Rennais running until 2029 and his loan deal with Racing Santander until June 2027, without a buy-out option.
The 20-year-old Moroccan footballer's market value has risen to around €20 million, giving Stade Rennais control over his future. Zabiri's childhood dream of wearing the Barcelona jersey and playing alongside stars like Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Antoine Griezmann could be a motivating factor in any potential move. His past successes with the Moroccan under-20 team, including being crowned top scorer in the World Cup, add to his appeal.
While Barcelona's interest in Zabiri is evident, the club's financial situation and the player's contractual obligations make a transfer complicated. Stade Rennais' stance on selling Zabiri will likely play a significant role in determining his future. As the football world watches, Zabiri's performances will continue to be closely monitored by top clubs.
Summer 2027 is expected to be a crucial period in Zabiri's career, with his loan deal with Racing Santander expiring and his contract with Stade Rennais still having two years remaining. A potential move to Barcelona or another top club could be on the cards, but it remains to be seen how Zabiri's future will unfold.
Zabiri's rise to prominence has been swift, with his impressive performances in Spain catching the attention of top clubs. His talent, work ethic, and dedication have made him a player to watch in Moroccan and international football. As he continues to develop, Zabiri's dream of playing for Barcelona may become a reality.
The Moroccan footballer's journey will be closely followed by fans and pundits alike, with his potential move to Barcelona or another top club being a major talking point in the football world.
