The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, or business administration, with a part-qualified professional accountant qualification. At least two years of experience in a busy accounts office with direct supervision of personnel is required. Experience in a medical or humanitarian organization is an added advantage.
The Accounts Officer will also be responsible for payroll activities, including initiating staff payment advances and salary recoveries. The role involves reviewing payroll changes, preparing reconciliations, and filing payroll-related returns and statutory obligations.
