Moov Africa Benin has announced that its mobile money service, Moov Money, will be introducing new features to enhance its financial services. As of November 2, 2026, Moov Money will integrate the Interoperable Instant Payment Platform (PI-SPI) of the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO). This platform allows for instant transfers between banks, other operators, and Moov Money. The service will be accessible through the Moov Money application or via the USSD code *855*6.

The introduction of PI-SPI aims to facilitate financial transactions and strengthen interconnections between different stakeholders in the monetary ecosystem. To receive money, users will only need to provide their Moov Money number or alias, which can be found in the "PI" section of the application or via the code *855*6*1#. The new service also offers free transfers up to 8,000 FCFA per day, with free reception of funds.

In addition to the introduction of PI-SPI, Moov Money is also adjusting its transaction limits to meet the growing needs of its customers. The maximum balance allowed on a account will increase from 2,000,000 FCFA to 4,000,000 FCFA, doubling the fund storage capacity. The monthly cumulative recharge limit will also increase from 10,000,000 FCFA to 15,000,000 FCFA.

These new features are designed to provide users with greater financial flexibility and better liquidity management. They also reflect Moov Money's commitment to responding to the needs of an evolving economic environment, where speed, accessibility, and flexibility are essential for competitiveness.

The new services are part of Moov Money's efforts to promote financial inclusion and digital innovation in Benin. The company aims to provide its subscribers with efficient, accessible, and adapted solutions that meet the realities of the market.

Moov Money's customer service will be available to address any concerns or questions related to the new features. The service can be reached at 1919, or through the various Moov Money agencies and service points.

The introduction of these new features demonstrates Moov Money's commitment to providing innovative, secure, and inclusive financial services that meet the needs of its customers. The company aims to contribute to a more connected and accessible economy for all.
