The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has announced 678 vacancies at its headquarters and campuses, offering opportunities in various fields. Applications must be submitted online by Friday, 30 October 2026. KMTC is a state corporation responsible for training health-sector professionals, conducting research and providing consultancy services. The college seeks professionals across a wide range of health disciplines, including nursing, medicine, and community health.

The largest share of the advertised positions is in teaching and clinical training. KMTC is seeking to recruit Senior Lecturers in Pharmacy – 5 positions and Lecturers II in various disciplines. Nursing has 200 positions, Clinical Medicine has 105 positions, and other fields such as Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine, Emergency and Critical Care Medicine, and Medical Laboratory Sciences also have vacancies.

In addition to teaching and clinical vacancies, KMTC has advertised positions in management, finance, human resources, information technology, records, procurement, communications, and general administration. The openings provide opportunities for candidates with backgrounds in office administration, finance, legal services, ICT, human resources, and maintenance.

Some of the administrative and support roles advertised include Medical Laboratory Technologist III, Occupational Therapist Assistant III, and Assistant Radiographer III. Other positions are available in human resource management, ICT, legal services, and corporate communication. The college is seeking to fill 15 positions for Administrative Officer II and 10 positions for Office Administrator II.

To apply, candidates must submit their applications online through the KMTC recruitment portal by Friday, 30 October 2026. Hard-copy applications will not be accepted. Successful candidates will be required to provide clearance documents before receiving their offer letters, in line with the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010. These include Kenya Revenue Authority tax compliance certificate, clearance certificate from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, and a valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
