Kansai Plascon Uganda has unveiled the 15th edition of its flagship Paint and Win promotion, committing more than UGX 2.2 billion towards promotional prizes and community paint donations. The campaign, themed "Koodi," will run from October 1 to December 12, 2026. It was launched at the company's offices in Kampala's Industrial Area. This annual promotion has become a significant engagement with Plascon customers.
Under the promotion, customers who purchase Plascon paint worth at least UGX 200,000 from an authorised dealer will receive a scratch card with a unique code. Customers must send the code by SMS to 7197 to enter the promotion. Every valid entry qualifies for airtime worth UGX 1,000, UGX 2,000 or UGX 5,000. Customers also enter daily cash draws, with one customer winning UGX 1 million every day from Monday to Saturday.
The six daily winners will proceed to a weekly game show, where five contestants will receive additional cash prizes. The prizes range from UGX 1 million to UGX 200,000. One contestant will win a fully registered motorbike, a protective helmet, and fuel worth UGX 100,000. The campaign will also award two fully registered tuk-tuks, one at the halfway point and another at the end of the promotion.
Each tuk-tuk winner will receive a helmet and fuel worth UGX 100,000. Beyond consumer prizes, Kansai Plascon Uganda will support communities through corporate social responsibility initiatives. In October, the company will donate paint to several organisations, including Nsengwe Community Church in Mubende and the Women's Prison in Luzira.
Further donations are planned for King's Way Rehabilitation Centre in November and St. Kizito Primary School in Waluleeta, Luweero District, in December. Kansai Plascon Uganda Managing Director Santosh Gumte stated that the campaign reflects the company's appreciation for customers and its commitment to communities across Uganda.
Gumte added that the company's commitment extends beyond selling paint, with Paint and Win providing an opportunity to reward customers while contributing to the communities where the company operates. The company will work with its nationwide dealer network to drive participation, with dealers and partners receiving incentives as part of the campaign.
Kansai Plascon Uganda Head of Sales Moses Kato emphasised the importance of dealers as frontline ambassadors, interacting directly with customers. The 2026 edition of Paint and Win combines customer rewards with community initiatives, as Kansai Plascon Uganda seeks to deepen engagement with consumers, dealers, and communities during the final quarter of the year.
