Fortune FA have continued their impressive run in the Nathaniel Idowu U-16 Football League, thrashed Bright Stars SA 6-0 in Week 4. The victory marked their fourth consecutive win, with 21 goals scored and only one conceded. Fuad Oyesina scored a hat-trick in the 17th, 35th, and 43rd minutes, while Quadri Akanbi grabbed a brace in the 10th and 50th minutes. Odesola Odunayo completed the rout in the 73rd minute.
The emphatic victory further underlined Fortune FA's early dominance as the league leaders continue to set the pace. With 12 points from four matches, Fortune FA remain firmly at the top of the standings. Their closest challengers, Young Eleven FA, recorded a 2-0 victory over St. Petersburg FA. Daniel Hameed opened the scoring in the 15th minute, and Olatunji Michael doubled the advantage shortly before half-time.
Young Eleven FA's victory took them to 10 points from four matches, following three wins and a draw. They remain two points behind Fortune FA. St. Petersburg FA, who had recorded victories in Weeks 2 and 3, suffered their second defeat of the campaign and remain on six points. SC Heritage also strengthened their position with a 2-0 victory over Divinely Blessed.
Norbert Jonathan put SC Heritage ahead in the 30th minute, and Joshua Garba sealed the points with a late strike in the 90th minute. The victory was Heritage's second consecutive win, moving them to seven points, level with Ajegunle United. Ajegunle United, however, suffered their first defeat of the campaign after losing 2-0 to Atico FA.
Azeez Yakubu gave Atico FA the lead in the 30th minute, and Akinwale Ayoola doubled the advantage eight minutes later. Ajegunle United were unable to find a response as Atico held on for their first victory of the season, moving to four points. Moore Wins FA recorded their first victory of the campaign with a 5-1 comeback win over Seraphic FA.
Seraphic FA took the lead through Wisdom Okafor, but Moore Wins responded strongly. Olatuga Pelumi levelled the scores, and Sunday Maji put Moore Wins ahead. Quadri Yekini added a third, while substitute Korede scored twice in the second half to complete the comeback. The result lifted Moore Wins to four points, while Seraphic FA remained without a point after four matches.
