A group of former African Democratic Congress (ADC) State House of Assembly candidates have formally defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing the impressive achievements of President Bola Tinubu's administration. The defectors, led by Princess Aslam Aliyu, were received into the APC by National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, at the party's National Secretariat in Abuja. They declared their support for President Tinubu's re-election in 2027.
Speaking on behalf of the defectors, Hon. Mohammed Hassan from Zamfara stated that they were drawn to the APC by the giant strides of the Tinubu administration.
