Governor of Giza Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansari recently followed up on the implementation status of several developmental and service projects in the governorate. He emphasized the need to accelerate the pace of work, reviewing the execution rates of finishing works and utility connections for the Al-Haram tunnel. The governor directed the start of procedures for bidding on finishing the building and handing it over to those who have registered.
Dr. Al-Ansari also reviewed the implementation status of the Al-Bahr Al-A'zhar Street building. He directed coordination between all concerned parties to start procedures for offering the property for investment to achieve an economic return. The meeting discussed the project to develop and improve tunnels within the governorate and reviewed the protocol signed with the General Authority for Roads and Bridges to develop and optimally exploit them.
The governorate's development plan includes improving the general condition of tunnels. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Ansari reviewed the status of development, improvement, and paving works on several axes and streets. These include Salam Street, Al-Masraf Street, and Faisal Street in the Boulaq Al-Dakrour district. He also directed the preparation of a comprehensive study for four sectors on Faisal Street.
The study will include development, maintenance, paving, and development of the central island, as well as modifying some rotations to eliminate traffic congestion and improve movement on the street. The meeting discussed three proposals to exploit the service station established in the area between Al-Maryouteya and Al-Sahaba axes. The governor emphasized the importance of adhering to the specified time frames for completing projects.
Dr. Al-Ansari directed the acceleration of procedures for issuing regulations for workers and re-planning the Al-Safeeh area. He also ordered the formation of a device to manage the area and start forming committees for inventory and survey. The governor reviewed the status of work on several projects, including the construction of a bridge in Sakara.
He directed the search for ways to modify the paths of construction works to be compatible with the watercourses that conflict with the path of works. The governor also reviewed the status of the Ghataati bridge under the ring road at its intersection with Al-Manouriya Trench. He directed the rapid investigation of implementation obstacles and their removal.
The meeting discussed the construction status and utility connection works, as well as coordination between executing companies for the Al-Harfiyeen city on the Al-Fayoum desert road. Dr. Al-Ansari directed the inspection of Hussein Mahran Square in the Al-Munirah Al-Gharbeya district and the preparation of an engineering plan for its development.
