The Egyptian Ministry of Culture's General Authority for Cultural Palaces, led by artist Hisham Atwa, has announced a diverse agenda of cultural and artistic events for this week. The program includes a training session on "Electronic Marketing and Entrepreneurship" and several artistic and handicraft workshops for women, running until October 1.
The General Authority for Cultural Palaces is also organizing five literary meetings as part of the monthly "Salon of Mass Culture." On Monday, a meeting titled "Literature and Place: Cultural Specificity and Influence" will take place at the Faculty of Arts, Menoufia University. Other meetings will be held in Damietta, Ismailia, Aswan, and the Red Sea governorate.
The "Awareness Builds Nations" campaign, organized in collaboration with Hawa magazine and featuring prominent figures and specialists, continues this week. The campaign includes awareness and educational meetings targeting families, youth, and children. On Sunday, an event will be held at the Rawd al-Fargh Cultural Palace, followed by another on September 30 at the Garden City Children's Cultural Palace.
The General Authority for Cultural Palaces will also present a diverse program in various governorates as part of the "Street of Art" initiative, launched by the Ministry of Culture. On Thursday and Friday, events will take place in Kafr El Sheikh, Alexandria, Aswan, Beni Suef, Ismailia, Qena, and Minya. The events include artistic performances, creative workshops, interactive activities for children, cultural competitions, and talent discovery sessions.
The Red Sea governorate will host the seventh phase of the "Confrontation and Roaming" theater project in collaboration with the Theater Sector. The events, starting on Sunday in the city of Shalatin, include artistic and training workshops, theatrical performances, a book fair, and other activities. The project will also visit other areas, including Ras Hadraba, Abu Ramad, and Halayeb, in coordination with various cultural institutions and ministries.
Additionally, the weekly agenda includes literary seminars, educational meetings, artistic and handicraft workshops, free film screenings at the Garden City Cinema Palace, and tours of the Beautiful Art Bus. These events are part of the celebrations for the national day of the Beheira governorate and aim to promote cultural and artistic activities across Egypt.
