Hendy stressed that AI is no longer just a tool for service development but a crucial element in enhancing digital sovereignty.
Hendy reported that the number of services offered through the Egypt Digital platform has increased to nearly 250, with a target of 270 services by the end of the year and 400 services by 2030. He also highlighted the success of Egypt's digital exports, which have grown by 124% since 2018, reaching $7.4 billion in 2025. Additionally, Egypt has attracted major mobile phone manufacturers, with over 10 million mobile devices produced locally in 2025.
