A cultural caravan for women, titled "Culture and Creativity," kicked off on Sunday at the Asyut Cultural Palace as part of the "Basma" initiative. This initiative is organized by the General Organization for Cultural Palaces to spread cultural and intellectual awareness. The program includes a training session on "Electronic Marketing and Entrepreneurship" featuring a selection of specialists, along with several artistic and craft workshops for women. These activities will continue until October 1st.
The General Organization for Cultural Palaces is also organizing various meetings within the activities of the monthly "Salon of Mass Culture," aimed at spreading societal and cultural awareness in the governorates. This week, five meetings are scheduled, starting on Monday with a meeting titled "Literature and Place: Cultural Specificity and Influence" at the Faculty of Arts, Minoufiya University. Other meetings will take place in Damietta, Ismailia, Aswan, and the Red Sea governorate.
In addition to these events, the General Organization for Cultural Palaces is continuing its "By Awareness, We Build Nations" campaign, which is held in cooperation with "Hawa" magazine and features a number of public figures and specialists. The campaign includes awareness and educational meetings directed at families, youth, and children. These activities will take place on Sunday at the Roud al-Ferg Cultural Palace and on Wednesday, September 30th, at the Children's Cultural Palace in Garden City.
The "Street of Art" initiative, organized by the Ministry of Culture under the national project for arts, will see a variety of activities taking place in several governorates, including Kafr El Sheikh, Alexandria, Aswan, Beni Suef, Ismailia, Qena, and Minya. These activities, scheduled for Thursday and Friday, include artistic performances, creative workshops, interactive activities for children, cultural competitions, and talent discovery segments.
The Red Sea governorate will host a series of activities as part of the seventh phase of the "Confrontation and Roaming" theater project, in collaboration with the Theater Sector. These activities, starting on Sunday in the city of Shalatin, include artistic and training workshops, theatrical performances, a book exhibition, and more. The events will continue in other areas, including Ras Hadraba, Abu Ramad, and Halayeb, in coordination with various sectors of the Ministry of Culture and other ministries, as well as the "Hayat Karima" foundation.
The General Organization for Cultural Palaces has also announced the results of the competition for the best cultural websites in its fourth edition. Moreover, the organization's theater clubs have recorded 506 new projects, opening up creative avenues for over 10,000 young people. These activities reflect the ongoing efforts of the Ministry of Culture to promote cultural and artistic activities across Egypt.
