The Egyptian government has announced the start of registration and dollar transfers for the third phase of the "Your Home in Egypt" initiative. The program, launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Egyptian expatriates, aims to provide housing opportunities for Egyptians living abroad. Registration will begin on November 10, 2026, and interested parties can access the initiative's website to create an account and conduct dollar transfers.

The third phase of the initiative offers approximately 4,000 units in various cities, including New El Alamein, New Cairo, Shrouk, 6th of October, Sheikh Zayed, New Administrative Capital, New Mansoura, and New Damietta. These units are part of several high-profile projects, such as "Madinti," "Janna," "Zilal," "Dyarna," "Mazareen," and "Zahya." The initiative caters to Egyptians abroad who wish to own a home in their home country, either for residency or investment purposes.

The Ministry of Housing has emphasized its commitment to simplifying procedures and providing competitive pricing and payment systems. According to Housing Minister Randa El-Manshawey, the initiative seeks to meet the aspirations of Egyptian expatriates by offering diverse housing opportunities in new cities. El-Manshawey also highlighted the government's efforts to develop the initiative's mechanisms and enhance transparency.

Dr. Walid Abbas, Deputy Housing Minister for Urban Communities, explained that the third phase will adopt an electronic reservation system, allowing applicants to book units based on a first-come, first-served basis. He also noted that various payment mechanisms will be available, including options to pay 100% or 50% of the unit's value, with discounts applicable to each payment system.

The "Your Home in Egypt" initiative allows applicants to create an electronic account, conduct dollar transfers, and verify their balances before the actual booking process begins. According to Dr. Ahmed Amr, Supervisor of the Real Estate and Commercial Sector at the New Urban Communities Authority, interested parties can transfer a minimum of $5,000, with the option to make additional transfers. These funds will be added to the applicant's electronic balance and can be used to book a unit.

The registration process is open to Egyptians living abroad aged 21 and above, who can access the initiative's website at https://beitakfemisr.com or contact the hotline at 19010 for inquiries. The initiative's official social media pages also provide additional information.

The Egyptian government has reassured applicants that the registration and transfer process does not imply the start of the booking or allocation process. Instead, it allows interested parties to prepare their financial arrangements in advance. The government will announce the final details of the third phase, including booking dates, payment systems, and discount rates, through official channels.
