The Egyptian side expressed its support for all efforts by the Sudanese government in the reconstruction process, welcoming joint work to support various sectors in Sudan in a way that achieves the common interest of the peoples of both countries. The talks also covered ways to develop relations in various fields, including politics, economy, water, culture, society, and humanitarian affairs.
Both sides emphasized the unity of their destiny and that bilateral relations are "completely protected against any malicious and weak attempts to drive a wedge between the sons of the Nile Valley". They also confirmed their rejection of any threat to Sudan's unity and safety, stressing their determination to enhance joint coordination to restore stability in Sudan.
The Egyptian side emphasized Egypt's alignment with the Sudanese people and its national institutions, reaffirming Egypt's readiness to take all necessary measures and procedures guaranteed by international law and the defense agreement between the two countries to support Sudan.
