The Burkinabé government has announced the second phase of the third edition of the National Patriotic Engagement and Citizenship Days (JEPPC). Additionally, blood donation drives, contributions to the Patriotic Support Fund, and conferences on civic engagement will be held. The event will also feature a government exhibition showcasing the achievements and accomplishments of the RPP.
The government exhibition, which will take place from October 2-9, 2026, at the SIAO, will feature innovations, products, and services developed by various government departments. The exhibition aims to demonstrate the government's accountability and transparency in its actions. Each of the eight days of the exhibition will focus on a specific theme, including "The People Standing Up Render Account" and "Made in Burkina".
The exhibition will also feature a "Village of National Cuisine" and an "Expo-Sale" where visitors can purchase local products. Furthermore, a cultural village will be set up to promote Burkinabé culture, and visitors can participate in various activities, including Faso Mêbo projects. On October 15, 2026, a tribute will be paid to President Thomas Sankara, and on October 16, 2026, the "Night of the Stars of Faso" will recognize exemplary citizens who have demonstrated commitment to national engagement. The JEPPC has been designed to promote a culture of patriotism, civic engagement, and national unity in Burkina Faso.
