Ayodeji Badejo has taken over as the new vice-chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), succeeding Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello. Badejo, a professor of Guidance and Counselling, is the third female to occupy the highest office at LASU. She began her five-year tenure on Monday, September 21, after being approved by Lagos State governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on September 10. The new LASU vice-chancellor unveiled her agenda in an appreciation message to the university community after assuming office.
