The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has introduced Laja Adeoye, the party's 2027 Lagos governorship candidate, as a frontline alternative to lead the state. According to Zainab Aderinsola, the Lagos youth leader, Adeoye's "Atunto Eko 1.0" agenda addresses critical issues such as housing, electricity, jobs, healthcare, transportation, flooding, and waste management. This comprehensive approach aims to provide solutions to the state's pressing challenges.

Adeoye's policy proposals include the creation of industrial and skills clusters to generate about 100,000 direct jobs within two years and 1.5 million jobs within four years. The initiatives comprise technology hubs in Yaba and Ogba, agro-processing centers in Badagry and Epe, and skills academies across the three senatorial districts. These projects are designed to stimulate economic growth and provide opportunities for Lagos residents.

On the issue of electricity, Adeoye has proposed generating at least 2,000 megawatts through independent power projects across Lagos' five IBILE divisions — Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, and Epe — alongside a state electricity grid. Additionally, his housing proposal involves partnerships with private developers to deliver about 100,000 affordable homes in Epe, Badagry, and Ikorodu, as well as measures to promote single-digit mortgages.

Adeoye's healthcare plan includes building, rehabilitating, and equipping more than 300 primary healthcare centers within 18 months if elected. His agenda also addresses flood-control measures, improved waste management, expanded Bus Rapid Transit services, integrated water transportation, and digital traffic management. These proposals aim to improve the overall quality of life for Lagos residents.

Aderinsola also highlighted Adeoye's governance reforms, including replacing the Governor's Advisory Council with a broader advisory body comprising traditional rulers, religious leaders, youths, women, business leaders, and representatives of the five IBILE divisions. Furthermore, Adeoye has proposed converting Lagos' 37 Local Council Development Areas into full local governments, potentially increasing the state's local government structure from 20 to 57.

Aderinsola emphasized Adeoye's relevant background in property development and business, having served as group managing director and chief executive officer of Fendini Group. She also cited his political experience, including his time with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and as publicity secretary of the Action Democratic Party. Adeoye contested the Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency II seat in the 2023 House of Representatives election before emerging as the APM's Lagos governorship candidate.

Despite the political strength and incumbency advantage of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aderinsola stated that Adeoye's campaign is seeking to differentiate itself through specific policy proposals. She emphasized that Lagos needs practical solutions, including shorter commutes, cheaper and steadier power, affordable housing, functional clinics, and a government that serves the people.
