The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed its full support for the stance of Saudi Arabia and its efforts to lead a coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen. This support is based on the kingdom's inherent right to self-defense in accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter. The security of Saudi Arabia is considered an integral part of Bahrain's security and that of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, under the Collective Defense Agreement.

The Ministry called on the UN Security Council, particularly its permanent members, to assume its responsibilities in putting an end to these attacks. These attacks pose a threat to maritime navigation security and energy supplies, and the Ministry urged the council to ensure the full implementation of its relevant resolutions, primarily resolutions 2216 and 2817. This implementation is crucial for maintaining regional and international peace and security.
