Algerian Labor Minister Mohamed Hatatoucha highlighted the importance of improving public service quality and addressing citizen concerns on Thursday in Algiers. This approach aligns with the high instructions of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aiming to enhance state institutions' effectiveness and public service quality.

He considered improving citizen reception conditions and addressing their concerns a top priority that cannot be postponed. The minister emphasized the importance of proper reception, listening to citizens, and processing their requests within specified deadlines.

The minister also highlighted the need to strengthen coordination and integration between provincial directorates and local structures of funds, bodies, and institutions under supervision. This should be done while respecting each entity's legal and regulatory powers to ensure a unified vision and coherent sectoral work. He called on provincial directors to take initiative, intensify field presence, monitor concerns, and contribute to finding solutions to emerging issues.

He also highlighted the need to improve revenue collection mechanisms, develop employment and mediation services in the labor market, and promote social dialogue and worker rights protection.

This aims to simplify procedures, reduce file processing deadlines, and improve service quality. He also emphasized investing in human resources, valuing competencies, and promoting continuous training.

The minister instructed all officials to adopt clear work programs with achievable goals and specified deadlines for implementation.
