In secondary education, first- and second-year students will take first-trimester exams from December 6 to 10, 2026. Third-trimester exams for all secondary education levels are set for May 23-27, 2027. Exams for third-year secondary students will occur from May 9 to 13, 2027.
The ministry also announced the vacation schedule for the 2026-2027 academic year. Autumn vacation will begin on October 27, 2026, and end on November 2, 2026. Winter vacation will run from December 17, 2026, to January 3, 2027. Spring vacation is set to start on March 18, 2027, and conclude on April 4, 2027.
Summer vacation will commence after the completion of third-trimester evaluations, make-up exams, and collective corrections. The annual leave for teachers has been scheduled to start on July 8, 2027, for all regions. Administrative staff in the first and second zones will begin their leave on July 22, 2027, while those in the third zone will start on July 15, 2027.
