Samer Salamah, the agent of Egyptian footballer Hassam Abdel Majeed, has clarified that his client has not received any official notification from Zamalek regarding a deduction from his outstanding dues. Abdel Majeed currently plays for Bulgarian club Ludogorets. According to Salamah, the club had been expected to settle the dues two weeks ago. The agent mentioned that they had sent a notification to Zamalek about the overdue payments but had not received a response.

Salamah explained that the notification sent to Zamalek does not constitute a warning but rather an intimation of the outstanding amount. He stated that as per the protocol, they have to wait for 30 days before taking any legal action if the dues are not paid. Abdel Majeed had joined Ludogorets from Zamalek at the beginning of the current season. Salamah also revealed that his client had not received a portion of his previous season's dues, unlike other players.

The agent disclosed that Abdel Majeed had received 70% of his dues, while the remaining 30% amounts to approximately 700,000 Egyptian pounds. He emphasized that there is no clause in Abdel Majeed's contract that stipulates waiving his remaining dues upon leaving Zamalek. This is evident from the fact that Abdel Majeed has received a part of his previous dues, which Salamah respects as a gesture of appreciation from the club for the player's efforts.

Salamah stressed that there is no intention for Abdel Majeed to return to Egypt. The player has adapted well to Ludogorets and has become a regular starter, which has also led to him being part of the Egyptian national team's recent matches. Abdel Majeed has featured in four matches for Ludogorets since joining the team. Salamah also mentioned that there has been no official communication from Al Ahly, another prominent Egyptian club, regarding Abdel Majeed.

The Egyptian national team recently participated in international friendlies, and Abdel Majeed was part of the squad. The team is preparing for upcoming competitions, including the African Cup of Nations qualifiers. Zamalek, on the other hand, is dealing with its own set of challenges, including player transfers and financial matters. The club's situation may impact its ability to settle outstanding dues to players.

Abdel Majeed's transfer to Ludogorets was a significant move for the player, marking his entry into European football. His performance in Bulgaria has been encouraging, and his participation in the Egyptian national team underscores his growing importance as a player. The situation with his dues, however, requires resolution between him and Zamalek.

The issue of outstanding dues to Abdel Majeed highlights the complexities football clubs face in managing player contracts and payments. Salamah's statements indicate a clear intention to follow due process in resolving the matter. The case will likely be monitored closely by Egyptian football fans and officials.
