Egypt's Kafr El-Sheikh education department has announced that 23 schools have been accredited by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education. This accreditation comes as part of the 2025/2026 academic year plan for the second semester. The announcement was made by Dr. Alaa Joda, Deputy Minister of Education for Kafr El-Sheikh.
The accredited schools are distributed across various educational administrations in Kafr El-Sheikh. These include one school in the Hamoul administration, two schools in the Riyadh administration, one school in the Burg El-Buruls administration, two schools in the Baltim administration, four schools in the Biela administration, three schools in the Desouk administration, four schools in the Sidi Salem administration, and three schools in the East Kafr El-Sheikh administration.
According to Dr. Alaa Joda, the 100% accreditation rate for submitted schools reflects the efforts made by the quality management team and school administrators. He praised the collaborative spirit and collective work among all employees. The accreditation process involves meeting comprehensive quality standards to improve the educational process.
The total number of accredited schools in Kafr El-Sheikh has risen to 425. This number is after excluding schools whose accreditation period has expired, which is five years. A total of 70 schools have been accredited so far this year. The Deputy Minister of Education emphasized the importance of continuing to work on spreading a culture of quality and institutional excellence.
Dr. Alaa Joda congratulated the quality management team and all employees on this achievement. He expressed his appreciation for their efforts in achieving this milestone and confirmed that they will continue to work on improving educational outcomes. This aligns with the Egyptian government's vision for education development.
The distribution of accredited schools across Kafr El-Sheikh's educational administrations has been provided. It includes 65 schools in East Kafr El-Sheikh, 60 schools in Sidi Salem, 56 schools in Riyadh, 42 schools in Qaleen, 37 schools in Desouk, 34 schools in Biela, 29 schools in Baltim, 25 schools in West Kafr El-Sheikh, 23 schools in Hamoul, and 21 schools in Matobas.
The accreditation of these schools is a result of directives from the Minister of Education and the Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh. Their goal is to develop the educational system and improve performance standards in schools. This development is part of a broader effort to enhance the quality of education in Egypt.
