Alhaji Abdulahi Mohammed, the senatorial candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) for Kwara South, has assured that the party is well-positioned to provide a better alternative for the people of Kwara state. He made this statement in an interview with the Nigerian Tribune in Ilorin. According to him, the ADP has a comprehensive blueprint to tackle pressing issues such as high cost of living, low agricultural development, persistent insecurity, and poor micro, small, and medium entrepreneurship growth.

Mohammed, who hails from Balogun Ward in Offa, Kwara South district, urged the electorate to look beyond the two main political parties in the state. He emphasized that the ADP has a lot to offer and can bring about positive change in the lives of the people. The senatorial candidate expressed concern that the people of Kwara have been focusing too much on the two major political parties, neglecting other platforms that can bring about political emancipation.

Alhaji Mohammed criticized the lack of continuity in projects and policies among successive governments in Kwara state. He stated that this has led to suffering for the people. The ADP senatorial candidate promised that if given the opportunity to serve, the party would bring about a lot of difference in governance. Mohammed highlighted the need for government support for people in various sectors, such as engineering and agriculture.
