Dr. Pathan Mohamed Pathan, an obstetrician and gynaecologist at Mwera Pongwe District Hospital, highlighted that a shortage of medical equipment was a significant challenge facing the facility. The hospital handles approximately 300 deliveries a month, and the donated equipment will greatly help improve services. The support has come at the right time, enabling the hospital to provide quality and safe care for both mothers and children.
