Vodafone Egypt's development foundation has launched the "Back to School" initiative in collaboration with Misr El-Kheir, aiming to support 7,000 underprivileged students across various governorates in preparation for the new academic year. The initiative is fully funded by Vodafone Egypt's development foundation, as part of its commitment to supporting education and empowering students. Misr El-Kheir will implement the initiative by distributing school bags and contributing to logistical aspects.
The initiative includes preparing and distributing comprehensive school bags containing essential supplies, which will help create a more supportive environment for students at the beginning of the academic year and enhance their opportunities to continue their education and build a more sustainable future. On September 21, 2026, a field activity was organized to assemble school bags at the Tawhid Complex for Community Schools in the Fayoum governorate.
The event saw the participation of volunteers from the "Yalla Shar3k" platform in preparing the bags, as well as contributing to organizing the event and supporting logistical operations and distributing the bags to students. Ayman El-Sadani, Head of External Affairs at Vodafone Egypt, stated that the foundation believes investing in education is an investment in a more inclusive future.
El-Sadani emphasized that supporting students goes beyond providing their basic needs, as it also involves creating conditions that help them start their educational journey with confidence and readiness. Through the "Back to School" initiative, Vodafone Egypt's development foundation, in cooperation with Misr El-Kheir, aims to support 7,000 students across various governorates.
This initiative seeks to alleviate some of the burdens on their families and enhance their ability to continue their education.
