The two officials discussed key Arab issues, including the Palestinian question, and ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between Arab states and the Arab League Secretariat.
Fahmy praised the success of the second edition of the AI Summit 2026, organized by the Arab Organization for Communication and Information Technologies in collaboration with the Tunisian Ministry of Communication Technologies. The summit, held on September 9, 2026, brought together experts and stakeholders to discuss the future of artificial intelligence and its implications for the Arab region.
Nafti and Fahmy also discussed regional and international issues, including ways to promote security and stability in the Arab region and address the challenges posed by current developments.
