Tunisia will host the fourth edition of the International Energy Transition Salon, SITE 2026, from October 1-3, 2026. The event will take place under the theme "Investment and Innovation for Accelerating Energy Transition." The Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy, in collaboration with the Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company and the National Agency for Energy Control, will oversee the event. This edition will feature over 60 Tunisian and foreign companies specializing in energy and energy transition.
The event will also include 10 start-ups in a dedicated area for innovative companies to showcase their projects and solutions to investors, experts, professionals, and financial institutions. The event will feature delegations from Italy, Germany, Libya, and other countries, enhancing its international presence and opening up new opportunities for cooperation and investment. More than 700 guests and participants are expected to attend the various activities, along with around 2,500 visitors over three days.
The event's program includes six international conferences with representatives from the administration, public institutions, experts, professionals, and financial institutions. These conferences will address key energy transition issues, including energy transition strategy and major projects in the energy sector, renewable energy development and energy storage, and programs to increase solar energy access for small and medium-sized enterprises and general subscribers.
The conferences will also cover electric transportation and cars, carbon tax, smart grid solutions, and green hydrogen and related investment opportunities. The last day of the event will be dedicated to an informational day organized by several specialized companies and institutions to present their solutions, technologies, and projects, particularly in the field of solar energy generalization and project financing.
The event's program also includes B2B meetings between companies, investors, financial institutions, and experts to explore cooperation and partnership opportunities and project financing. The event aims to confirm its position as a major professional meeting in Tunisia on energy transition and a space that brings together experience, innovation, and investment around energy challenges and future.
