The Ministry has determined the fees for hunting licenses, with Tunisians and foreign residents born in Tunisia required to pay 30 dinars for a small game license and 90 dinars for a large game license. Foreign residents with temporary residence permits will pay 200 dinars for small game and 150 dinars for large game. A contribution of 10 dinars will be required for the National Union of Hunters' Associations.
The Ministry has banned the hunting of certain protected species, including rare mammals and birds. The decision also prohibits hunting in military and security zones, as well as in areas within 1000 meters of military installations and 500 meters of oil and gas facilities. Hunters are also required to respect the natural environment and refrain from littering.
The decision sets daily hunting quotas for small game, with a maximum of two rabbits, six partridges, and ten quail per hunter per day. For large game, hunting parties will be limited to 15 members, including a team leader, and will be required to wear bright orange vests.
