Tunisia's Minister of Equipment and Housing, Salah Zouari, stated that the cost of ongoing public projects in Nabeul governorate currently stands at 250 million dinars. He emphasized that these projects are at varying stages of completion. During a statement to Radio Tunis's correspondent in the region, Fatma Ben Othman, Zouari expressed his ministry's commitment to completing these projects by the end of 2026. He also mentioned plans to program additional projects for 2027.

Salah Zouari provided an update on several ongoing projects in Nabeul. One of the projects mentioned is the Qorba-Qorbs road (Regional Road 128), which connects the delegations of Sulaiman and Takelsa. This project aims to improve regional infrastructure. The minister also discussed the Regional Road 27 project. He reported that the first section between Nabeul and Qorba has been completed, and the second section linking Qorba to Manzel Témim is nearing completion.

However, Zouari noted that the third section of Regional Road 27, connecting Manzel Témim to Qelibya, is facing some challenges. Despite these challenges, the ministry is working to overcome them and complete the project. In addition to road infrastructure, the minister touched upon projects aimed at flood protection and repairing damage from the previous rainy season. He confirmed that work on these projects began at the start of summer.

The ongoing projects in Nabeul are part of a broader effort to enhance infrastructure and services in the region. By completing these projects, the government aims to improve the quality of life for residents and promote economic development. Salah Zouari's statements highlight the ministry's commitment to investing in infrastructure and addressing the needs of local communities.

The projects also reflect the government's focus on regional development and job creation. By allocating significant funds to these initiatives, the ministry is demonstrating its dedication to driving growth and improving living standards. The completion of these projects is expected to have a positive impact on the region, benefiting residents and businesses alike.

In the context of regional development, it is worth noting that other initiatives are underway in various parts of Tunisia. For example, the city of Gabès recently hosted events promoting partnership and investment. These events brought together stakeholders from the public and private sectors to discuss opportunities for growth and collaboration.

The efforts to develop infrastructure and promote investment are crucial for Tunisia's economic recovery and growth. By investing in roads, flood protection, and other essential services, the government is laying the groundwork for sustainable development and improved living standards. The ongoing projects in Nabeul are a testament to the government's commitment to regional development and its focus on addressing the needs of local communities.
