The Egyptian stock market also saw mixed results in other indices. The EGX70 equal-weighted index, which tracks medium and small-sized companies, rose by 0.27%, closing at 19,695 points. The EGX100 equal-weighted index increased by 0.22%, closing at 26,010 points. Additionally, the Islamic Shariah index grew by 0.26%, closing at 6,601 points.

In contrast, the market had a different performance during Tuesday's trading session, the middle of the week. The market capitalization of listed stocks lost 25.7 billion pounds, recording 4.213 trillion pounds. The EGX30 index dropped by 0.48%, closing at 53,298 points. The EGX70 index for small and medium-sized stocks fell by 0.68%, recording 19,642 points.

Furthermore, the broader EGX100 index declined by 0.69%, closing at 25,953 points. Other indices also experienced losses, with the EGX30 capped index decreasing by 0.43%, closing at 66,767 points. The EGX30 TR total return index dropped by 0.49%, recording 24,867 points. The EGX33 Islamic Shariah index fell by 0.37%, closing at 6,584 points.

The stock market had also shown a decline in the previous Monday's session. The market capitalization was around 4.238 trillion pounds, losing 23.9 billion pounds. The EGX30 index decreased by 0.66%, closing at 53,553 points. The EGX30 weighted index dropped by 0.65%, recording 67,055 points. In the first session of the week, which was on Sunday, the Egyptian stock market showed a positive trend. The market capitalization was around 4.263 trillion pounds, gaining approximately 78 billion pounds. The EGX30 index rose by 1.61%, closing at 53,911 points. The EGX30 weighted index increased by 2.07%, recording 67,492 points. The EGX30 total return index grew by 1.61%, closing at 25,153 points.
