Tunisia's Export Promotion Center is set to organize a series of Tunisian-Senegalese meetings in Dakar from December 15-19, 2026. The meetings aim to promote cooperation in the digital economy, particularly in areas such as cybersecurity, digital transformation, e-government, fintech, e-commerce, e-health, and ed-tech. The center invites Tunisian institutions and startups interested in participating in the mission to register by September 30, 2026.

The mission seeks to present Tunisia's digital offer to Senegalese decision-makers and stakeholders, and to organize bilateral business meetings with potential partners and clients. It also aims to identify local partners, such as solution integrators, distributors, and co-development and representation partners. The center views Senegal as a strategic market for Tunisian institutions operating in the digital sector.

Senegal is undergoing a significant digital transformation as part of its 10-year roadmap (2025-2034), which aims to digitize public services, enhance digital sovereignty, and develop a startup ecosystem. The country has over 11.5 million internet users, with a penetration rate of around 61%, and a 4G network coverage of approximately 85%.

The mission will also provide an opportunity for Tunisian participants to learn about Senegal's digital ecosystem by attending the International Salon for Digital Economy Professionals (SIPEN 2026) and conducting institutional visits. This will enable them to gain insights into the local market and identify potential areas of collaboration.

The Export Promotion Center considers Senegal a key market for Tunisian digital institutions, given its growing fintech sector and rapidly evolving entrepreneurship ecosystem. The center's initiative aims to strengthen economic ties between Tunisia and Senegal and promote cooperation in the digital economy.

The Tunisian-Senegalese meetings are part of the center's efforts to support Tunisian institutions and startups in expanding their presence in international markets. By participating in this mission, Tunisian entities can leverage Senegal's growing digital economy and establish partnerships with local stakeholders.

Interested Tunisian institutions and startups can register for the mission by September 30, 2026. The Export Promotion Center encourages participation from entities operating in the digital sector, particularly those involved in cybersecurity, digital transformation, and other areas relevant to Senegal's digital economy.
