The Caisse des prêts et de soutien des collectivités locales (CPSCL) has provided financing for 37 development projects in seven municipalities in the Zaghouan region of Tunisia. These projects, funded through credits and subsidies, aim to improve infrastructure, services, and equipment in the region. The projects include road paving, public lighting, and the construction of abattoirs, transport stations, and sports complexes.
The CPSCL has also provided funding for the development of residential areas, weekly markets, and the acquisition of new computer equipment. According to Mouna Bechali Jemaa, president of the CPSCL's regional agency in Nabeul, the projects are divided into three categories: 4 projects in the programming phase, 15 projects in the diagnostic and study phase, and 18 projects that have been approved for a total of 10.9 million dinars.
The CPSCL's financing covers nearly half of the total approved amount for the 18 ongoing projects. During a working session at the Zaghouan governorate, Bechali Jemaa emphasized the need to accelerate the completion of these projects and ensure that allocated credits are used within the specified deadlines. She called on stakeholders to prioritize the timely execution of projects.
Zaghouan Governor Karim Brengi stressed the importance of expediting studies to benefit from the CPSCL's advantages. He urged parties involved to address difficulties, enhance coordination, and complete projects within the allotted timeframe while meeting quality standards. Brengi's comments highlight the significance of effective project management in the region.
The CPSCL's financing aims to promote development and improve living conditions in the Zaghouan region. By investing in infrastructure and services, the agency seeks to enhance the quality of life for residents and support local economic growth. The projects are expected to have a positive impact on the region's development trajectory.
The working session at the governorate provided a platform for stakeholders to discuss project progress and address challenges. Participants reviewed the status of ongoing projects and explored strategies to overcome obstacles and ensure successful project completion. The meeting demonstrated a commitment to collaborative efforts to drive regional development.
The CPSCL's efforts in the Zaghouan region reflect its broader mission to support local development and improve living standards in Tunisia. By providing financing for development projects, the agency plays a vital role in promoting economic growth and social progress in the country.
