The third edition of the Professional Traditional Industries Salon, also known as ARTICREA, is set to kick off on Monday at the Kram Exhibition Palace in Tunisia. The event, which will run until October 11, brings together over 220 artisans and craft institutions from various regions of the country. This initiative aims to support the presence of Tunisian craft products in national and international markets, promoting partnership and business opportunities.

The salon is organized by the National Office for Traditional Industries, in collaboration with the National University for Traditional Industries and the Tunisia International Fair Company. This annual event seeks to establish itself as a major international professional meeting for traditional industries, allowing craft institutions to showcase their products, connect with buyers and professionals, and explore new opportunities for accessing foreign markets.

The event provides a professional platform for artisans, craft institutions, buyers, professionals, and sector stakeholders to come together. This convergence aims to highlight the diversity and quality of Tunisian craft products, their added value, and support the competitiveness of institutions and their ability to develop their activities and access international markets.

The salon features a commercial exhibition space showcasing the latest innovative craft products, particularly those related to gifts and decoration, as well as products with promising export potential. Additionally, a new space called "Gift Idea" has been created, dedicated to displaying various samples of craft products related to gifts, allowing public and private institutions, professionals, and businesses to discover options for acquiring gifts with a Tunisian identity and craft value.

The event's program includes workshops and technical sessions addressing several issues related to sector development, such as customs procedures for exporting craft products, financial support mechanisms, packaging, protection of designs and models, research, and innovation, as well as the use of artificial intelligence in traditional industries.

The salon also emphasizes international cooperation, with the participation of Malta and Sweden, and a special space dedicated to the "GEWEET" project for women's economic empowerment. Furthermore, a special event is planned for October 7, targeting foreign diplomatic missions accredited and based in Tunisia, featuring a visit to the salon and a reception.

The event is expected to promote Tunisian craft products, support the development of craft institutions, and enhance the country's presence in international markets. With its diverse range of activities and participants, the Professional Traditional Industries Salon is poised to become a major annual event in the region, fostering growth, innovation, and cooperation in the traditional industries sector.
