The SNCFT will also work on doubling the Moknine-Mahdia line and renewing the phosphate transport network. Furthermore, the Société Tunisienne de Transport (Transtu) will focus on strengthening bridges along the Tunis/La Goulette/La Marsa line.

The 2027 budget also includes plans for the development of border crossing infrastructure. The Office National des Postes et des Services de la Frontière (ONPFT) will oversee the development of three border posts: Melloula, Bouchebka, and Ras Jedir. These projects aim to enhance border infrastructure and improve operational capacity.

The increased budget for land transport reflects the government's efforts to improve the sector's infrastructure and services.
