The Association Grandir dans la Joie (AGDJ) has made a significant donation to five primary schools in Tchaoudjo, Togo. On September 23, the organization provided 120 tables and benches to enhance the learning environment for students. The donation was made possible with the financial support of the NAK Humanitas Foundation. This initiative aims to address the shortage of school furniture in the region.

The beneficiary schools include Ecoles primaires publiques (EPP) de KpalouKpalou, Komah 2D, Aguidagbadè, and Aléhéridè, each receiving 25 tables and benches. The EPP de Bouroda received 20 tables and benches. These schools are located in the communes of Tchaoudjo 1, 3, and 4. The donation was handed over to the schools by the first deputy mayor of Tchaoudjo 1, Yérima Agregna.

According to Elégbédé Franck, technical advisor to AGDJ, the organization conducted a study that revealed a shortage of school furniture in the beneficiary schools. This shortage forced some students to sit on the same table and bench. The donation aims to provide a comfortable and conducive learning environment for students. Franck emphasized that this initiative aligns with AGDJ's mission to support education and promote the well-being of children.

The first deputy mayor of Tchaoudjo 1, Yérima Agregna, expressed gratitude to AGDJ and its partner for their support. He emphasized that investing in education is crucial for building a better future for children. Agregna noted that the donation complements the municipal government's efforts to improve education in the region.

Boukare Labanté, head of the school division, welcomed the initiative, which aligns with the government's policy of providing quality education for all. He promised that the beneficiary schools would use the tables and benches effectively in the best interests of the students. The handover ceremony was attended by the mayors of the concerned communes, inspectors, and school principals.

The Association Grandir dans la Joie was established in 2019 and focuses on education, social inclusion, and community development. The organization supports vulnerable children and promotes community growth. This donation is part of AGDJ's efforts to make a positive impact in the lives of Togolese children.

The donation of tables and benches is expected to have a positive impact on the learning conditions of students in Tchaoudjo. The initiative demonstrates the commitment of AGDJ and its partners to improving education in Togo. The organization's efforts to address the shortage of school furniture will contribute to creating a more conducive learning environment for students in the region.
