The Agence nationale de promotion et de garantie de financement des PME/PMI (ANPGF) recently organized a training session for over 100 young entrepreneurs from the Savanes region in Dapaong, Togo. The session, which took place on September 23, focused on initiating participants into accounting and financial management. This training is part of the "Mercredi de l'entrepreneur" initiative, aimed at enhancing the organizational and financial capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The training covered four key modules: "The Role of Accounting," "Administrative Organization and Accounting Documents," "Document Control," and "Preparation of Financial Statements." These modules were designed to equip entrepreneurs with essential skills in managing their businesses' finances effectively. Dr. Magnangou Essonam, a researcher and teacher, led the training session, providing participants with valuable insights and practical knowledge.

The event was attended by Latifou Kégbéro, Secretary General of the Savanes region's governorship, who encouraged participants to view the training as an opportunity to enhance their businesses' transparency, professionalism, and performance. He expressed hope that the shared experiences and lessons learned during the session would translate into concrete results, contributing to the development of enterprises in the region.

M. Ouro Gnini Moubarak, representing the Director General of ANPGF, highlighted the importance of accounting in business management. He noted that entrepreneurs often perceive accounting as merely an administrative obligation, but it is, in fact, a vital tool for business decision-making. Accounting enables entrepreneurs to understand their company's financial situation, anticipate challenges, and make informed decisions based on reliable data.

The training session aimed to optimize the accounting and financial organization of SMEs, enabling them to make strategic decisions and achieve sustainable growth. By acquiring these skills, entrepreneurs can better manage their businesses, make informed decisions, and contribute to the region's economic development.

The "Mercredi de l'entrepreneur" initiative is an ongoing effort to support entrepreneurs in the Savanes region. By providing regular training sessions and workshops, ANPGF aims to empower SMEs to become more competitive and sustainable. This initiative has the potential to have a positive impact on the region's economy, creating jobs and stimulating growth.

The success of this training session is a testament to the importance of investing in entrepreneurship and small business development. As the participants return to their businesses, equipped with new skills and knowledge, they are likely to make a positive impact on the region's economy. The ANPGF's efforts to support entrepreneurs in the Savanes region are crucial in promoting economic growth and development.
