Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover has been elected as the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) National Organiser, succeeding on his second attempt after losing his first bid for the influential party office. The election took place at the NPP's National Delegates Conference held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Mr. Glover polled 2,964 votes to emerge ahead of six other candidates in the contest.

The NPP National Delegates Conference saw several key positions being contested, with Mr. Glover facing stiff competition from Ali Maiga Halidu, who placed second with 2,231 votes. Other candidates, including Kwame Prempeh Esq., Korsi Borja, Seth Agyei Yeboah, Agyenim Boateng, and Archibald Korletey Gamor, secured 445, 145, 137, 105, and 85 votes respectively. The result marks a significant breakthrough for Mr. Glover, who had previously contested the National Organiser position but failed to secure the mandate.

As National Organiser, Mr. Glover will be responsible for coordinating the party's organisational activities and working with its regional, constituency, and grassroots structures. The position is central to mobilisation, membership engagement, and the coordination of party activities across the country. His election comes as the NPP begins a new phase of internal organisation following its National Delegates Conference.

The NPP is expected to focus on strengthening its structures and mobilising its members ahead of the 2028 general election. Mr. Glover will work alongside the newly elected national executives, including National Chairman John Boadu and General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua, as the party moves beyond the internal elections and begins preparations for the next electoral cycle.

Mr. Glover's victory is seen as a significant development within the NPP, with the party seeking to build on its previous successes and strengthen its position ahead of the 2028 general election. The NPP has been working to modernise its structures and appeal to a wider range of voters, particularly the youth.

The election of Mr. Glover and other national executives has been welcomed by party members, who are calling for unity and a renewed focus on the party's goals. The NPP is expected to face a challenging electoral environment in 2028, with several opposition parties vying for power.

The NPP's National Delegates Conference also saw the election of other key officials, including Kojo Bamba, Henry Nana Boakye, and Nana Akomea as Vice Chairmen, and Hawa Koomson as National Women's Organiser. The party is expected to use these new appointments to drive its organisational activities and mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2028 general election.
