Timex has announced the launch of two new watches in its Deepwater Arctic 200 series, designed to combine a retro style with aquatic features. The new watches, TW3A02000 and TW3A01900, have a 40.5mm diameter stainless steel case and a 47mm distance between the lugs. The watches are 11.5mm thick and weigh around 86g. The cases have a brushed and polished finish, with the TW3A02000 featuring a gunmetal tone and the TW3A01900 having a classic silver steel finish.

The watches have a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment, providing protection against scratches. They also feature a unidirectional rotating bezel with a ceramic insert, allowing for elapsed time measurement while minimizing the risk of accidental changes. The watches are water-resistant up to 200 meters and have a screw-down crown and case back. The straps are made of HNBR, a synthetic rubber resistant to water, heat, and UV light, and have a traditional buckle closure.

The two watches have distinct dials, with the TW3A02000 featuring a black dial with a smoked gradient effect and the TW3A01900 having a blue dial with a gradient effect. The TW3A02000 has a gunmetal case and black strap, while the TW3A01900 has a silver steel case and blue strap. Both watches use Arabic numerals and have Super-LumiNova-filled hands and indices for visibility in low light conditions.

Timex has opted for a quartz movement in the Deepwater Arctic 200 series, prioritizing accuracy and simplicity. The movement uses a quartz oscillator powered by a battery, providing a precise timekeeping with an accuracy of milliseconds per day. The watches use an SR626SW battery, a common reference in quartz watches, eliminating the need for manual winding and maintenance.

The Deepwater Arctic 200 series is designed for aquatic activities, including swimming, snorkeling, surfing, and recreational scuba diving. The watches' design and features aim to provide a practical and easy-to-use timepiece for these activities. The quartz movement and battery-powered design ensure a low-maintenance watch that can withstand the demands of water sports.

The two Timex Deepwater Arctic 200 watches are now available, with the TW3A02000 priced at $269 and the TW3A01900 priced at $259, a $10 difference between the two variants. The availability of the watches may depend on the market and stock levels.

The launch of the Deepwater Arctic 200 series continues Timex's efforts to refresh its watch lineup, offering a range of styles and features for different activities and preferences. The new watches combine a retro aesthetic with modern features and materials, making them a unique addition to the Timex collection.
