The foundations Jethro Muyombi and Jokal have provided funding to three young entrepreneurs in Lubumbashi, Haut-Katanga province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Out of 3,000 projects received during the preselection phase, at least twenty were shortlisted. The selected project owners participated in training and then competed to present their projects to a jury.
The competition involved presenting the economic, social, and environmental impact of their projects to a jury. After deliberation, three young entrepreneurs won the competition. The first laureate, Olivier Ngoleshanga, received $3,000 to implement his agro-processing project, which he had initially started with limited funding from banking institutions. Ngoleshanga praised the transparency of the process and promised to report on his progress every quarter for 19 months.
Noëlla Malangu, the second winner, received $1,500 for her restaurant project. She started with 12,000 FC, selling eggs and salami. Malangu encouraged other young people to take the first step instead of waiting for significant capital. Eben-Ezer Tshila, the third winner, received $500 for his event planning project. He described the funding as a "boost" to launch his project and achieve financial autonomy.
The foundations Jethro Muyombi and Jokal will accompany the beneficiaries until their projects are completed. Freddy Nkulu, secretary general of the Jethro Muyombi foundation, encouraged young people to overcome failures and persevere in their work to secure funding for their projects. He represented Jethro Muyombi, the national deputy and visionary behind the initiative, who was unable to attend.
Nkulu quoted Jethro Muyombi as saying that young people should not fear failure, but instead learn from it and continue to work towards their goals. Muyombi congratulated the candidates for their courage, creativity, and willingness to undertake projects. He encouraged them to develop their projects, seek solutions, and believe in their potential.

The foundation emphasized that success is built daily through effort and determination.
