Sudan's cities of Wad Madani, Al-Abyad, and Nyala have been chosen for the Smart Cities project, as part of the urban planning and housing programs for Arab countries. This was announced by Abdelillah Yahya Ahmed, a member of the Transitional Sovereign Council, during the celebration of the Arab Housing Day.
