The upcoming 6th edition of the Siguiri Economic Fair promises to be an exciting event, with several innovative features in store. According to the organizing committee, the fair will run for 25 days, from November 5 to 29, 2026, with the official launch scheduled for November 7 at the Nonko stadium. The event will feature exhibitions, commercial activities, cultural performances, and educational initiatives.

This year's edition will introduce several new features, including demountable structures for the exhibition stands. Unlike previous years, when stands were built with wood, the new installations will be better ventilated and have a height increase from two to three meters. Michel André Kollié, head of the project, revealed these innovations during a press conference at the Nouga vestibule.

The educational aspect of the fair will also see significant improvements. The number of participating schools has increased from eight to ten, with more games and enhanced lighting in the designated area. Kollié expressed his enthusiasm for the expanded educational component, which aims to provide a valuable learning experience for young participants.

The cultural program for the fair promises to be exciting, with seven confirmed artists and seven others in negotiation. Kollié assured that the artistic lineup will meet the public's expectations over the 25-day event. The fair has also secured the support of prominent partners, including AngloGold Ashanti, which has been reconfirmed as the official sponsor.

Other partners, such as Groupe Continental SA and Kulu, have also come on board to support the event. Malamine Traoré, third vice-mayor of Siguiri and spokesperson for the municipality, praised the initiative for its contribution to the development of the commune, particularly in education, security, and local entrepreneurship promotion.

The fair's historical partner, AngloGold Ashanti de Guinée (SAG), has reaffirmed its commitment to community development. Louis Keïta, communication superintendent for the company, welcomed the new edition's focus on economic and social development. The Groupe Continental SA also expressed its support for the event, highlighting its role in promoting local communities.

Through this sixth edition, the Siguiri Economic Fair aims to solidify its position as a major economic and cultural event in the region. Organizers invite the public, entrepreneurs, and visitors to participate in the event, which promises to showcase the local economy's opportunities and potential.
