The workshop features various thematic discussions aimed at understanding the decree on the creation, organization, and functioning of provincial and local security committees. Martine Bokenge, a facilitator and director at the General Inspection of Territorial Administration, outlined the key topics to be covered during the three-day session. These include the main innovations of the decree, measures for its implementation, the six functions of the national defense and security policy, and the organization and functioning of local security committees.
The workshop targets three main groups: the provincial security committee, local security committees, and local security committees at the neighborhood and groupement levels. The Ministry of Interior, Security, Decentralization, and Customary Affairs is spearheading the initiative.
