Royal Airways, a Chadian airline, has launched a new flight route between N'Djamena, the capital of Chad, and Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic. The inaugural ceremony took place on October 7, 2026, at the presence of Dihoulné Laurent, Secretary General of the Ministry of Transport, Civil Aviation, and National Meteorology, and Jean-Bernard Léopold Biamba, Ambassador of the Central African Republic to Chad. Several civil and military authorities, as well as representatives of accredited embassies in Chad, attended the event.
The new route is expected to facilitate travel for business operators, traders, investors, and professionals between Chad and the Central African Republic. According to Abderahmane Moussa Siro, Managing Director of Royal Airways, the route will also enhance commercial exchanges and accelerate the transportation of goods between the two markets.
